12/15 - Pre-Production

Over the past few weeks, our team has been dedicated to refining the mission and vision for our debut film. This week, we turned our focus to identifying and tackling the challenges of production, recognizing that this is uncharted territory for all of us. A key question guiding our discussions has been: "How can we achieve the best results with the resources we already have?"

To support our vision, we've started reaching out to potential supporters and connecting with documentary filmmakers to gather their insights and advice. While we’d love to invest heavily in our project, our first step is to build momentum with the tools available to us. Now that winter break has started, we're excited to meet up, dive into some of our favorite films, share creative ideas, and begin storyboarding.

12/22 - First Vlog

On Saturday, December 21st, Luca, Riley, and Reece embarked on a day trip to Boyne Mountain for Demo Day and some filming. We set off on our 3-hour drive at 6 AM and enjoyed skiing until the afternoon, wrapping up at 5 PM. Throughout the day, we conducted interviews, shared stoke, and had motivating conversations about the future of dontforgetyourmittens. 1/15/25 - Second Vlog

Hey everyone! We’ve got some updates from the past week and a sneak peek at what’s coming up for DFYM.

Two weekends ago, we hit Boyne Highlands for some filming and exploration. It was great to have a friend join us as we checked out the terrain and captured some solid footage. The vibe there is always something special, and we’re excited to share what we’ve been working on.

The weekend after, Reece teamed up with Kyle and Ryan to head over to Boyne Mountain. They were filming to finish our second video, DFYM Double Feature: The Highlands & Boyne Mountain. 

Looking ahead, we’re diving into a new collaboration with a local action sports accessory company. This partnership is shaping up to be something fresh and exciting for our next episode. Stay tuned for more details as things unfold—we think you’re going to love what’s in store.
